Ribble Valley and Lancashire newborn photographer – Meeting 9 day old Daniel.

Jul 3, 2017

Hi.

Last Tuesday, I was contacted by Daniel’s Mummy. He was 6 days old at the time. His Mummy wanted to book in for a newborn photo shoot. Newborns are best to capture between 5 and 10 days old. This is because they are still very sleepy and like to be wrapped up tight. This makes them easier to pose and makes cute photos.  Anyway, like I said, he was already 6 days old. I was able to move some things around and got him booked in for the Friday morning.

Friday morning arrives. So does Daniel with his Mummy and Daddy. I accidentally made a comment about being naked, meaning Daniel. But unfortunately for me, it all came out a bit wrong. Meaning I’d made the wrong sort of first impression with my new customers. Luckily, they took it the right way and we were all able to laugh about it. Phew! Panic over!

Anyway, I’d chosen a series of neutral colours for the the shoot. I did some final preparation whilst Daniel was topped up with some milk, ready for him to go to sleep for some photos. He downed the milk, but he wasn’t for sleeping. Clearly, he didn’t want to miss out on what was going on. Never mind, the show must go on. So we got some lovely awake photographs instead.

Isn’t he a sweetie pie?
