A couple of weeks ago, I met 10 day old Henry and his big sister Clara. They were so sweet together. Clara has taken to her new role as big sister extremely well. She kept making sure he was okay and giving him load of hugs and kisses.
Whilst Mummy and Daddy got Henry ready for his shoot, Clara was more than happy to strike a few poses for me. She started off pretty nervous and shy. She soon got in to the swing of it after I pulled a few funny faces at her and encouraged her to be a little bit silly. Who doesn’t enjoy being a bit daft?
Henry was now in a milk coma and ready to go. He was a dream baby to photograph. He slept for almost the entire session! I used my new wicker basket and my lovely white trug with a series of (faux) furs, blankets and wraps. I was very excited as I also got to use my new bunny bonnet and snuggle sack too. He looked super cute in it. Clara jumped in on a few of the photographs with her baby brother to make extra special memories for their Mummy and Daddy to treasure. Clara was getting a bit bored of being a model towards the end of the session. This was quickly resolved with a bit of food bribery. In fairness, I can often be bribed with food too. So I don’t blame her! We finished the session with Henry’s Mummy and Daddy showing him off in the Simba pose. I do love a proud parent photograph.
Here is what Clara and Henry’s Mummy had to say about their experience;
“Jane took some gorgeous newborn photos of our son and his big sister. She had endless patience with our two year old who got a bit fed up of posing and she managed to get some lovely shots of her. Thanks very much!”
If you would like to book a newborn session (or any other), please get in touch.
