Lancashire Wedding Photographer at Bashall Barn

I have said this so many times before, but I am so lucky to do what I do as a Lancashire based wedding photographer and living in the Ribble Valley, amazing wedding venues like Bashall Barn are just on my doorstep! Also, I am incredibly lucky to work with so many amazing couples. I was so happy when Tayler and Joe asked if I was available for their wedding!

Tayler & Joe’s big day

Tayler and Joe definitely are incredible and as you guessed, their wedding was at Bashall Barn, Lancashire! Boom! From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be a good day. The vibe coming from the bridal preparation room was epic! The girls were all getting ready and Jay, Tayler’s sister in law was doing the final touches to the flowers. Joe and the lads soon arrived and they were just as excitable!

A couple of months before their wedding, Tayler had asked me who I recommended for confetti as she knew she wanted an epic shot of it. I advised that Flutter Darlings are amazing for this! So after a beautiful civil ceremony, we went straight outside for confetti. I had also said to Tayler to make sure she bought plenty, oh she did and it was amazing!!

Couples Portraits

This is my favourite time of the day. The newlyweds get a chance to breathe and talk to each other and I get to make awesome memories for them. Even better, Matt Jones films was working with me and we always have the best time working together.

Tayler & Joe had asked if Indie, their 4 year old golden retriever could come along for some of the shoot. Being an owner of 3 dogs, dogs are always welcome with me! It was 23°C so I made sure I was quick with Indie. The sky was pretty clear, so it was a bit too hot for the couple too. I suggested that we went back to the party and came out again later once it was cooler. Do you know what? I am so glad I did as Tayler had also brought converse (which she had decorated), a short dress to change in to for dancing and a bottle of fizz to spray! We had so much fun with that.

Anyway, this is only supposed to be a quick intro for their sneak peeks!
