Bashall Barn Wedding Photographer

Christine and Chris decided to tie the knot in the beautiful Ribble Valley. When they asked me if I would be their Bashall Barn wedding photographer, I was pleased to say I was available. I love Bashall Barn. It is one of my local favourites. It offers stunning views, has amazing staff and is constantly being improved by the owner, Simon.

Meeting Christine, Chris & Bella

I first met the couple at their pre-wedding shoot in Whalley, where Bella, their adorable dog, joined in on the fun. We got on so well, even though I did suggest Bella should come home with me! During their shoot, I asked them what made them choose Bashall Barn as neither of them have any local links. They said they had looked at several venues, but Bashall Barn has the edge for them as Bella was free to roam.

The Wedding

Christine, or girl Chris as she is known, crocheted all of the wedding favours, including tiny carrots and fairy mushrooms. I spotted them straightaway and was eyeing them up. They really were the cutest little things and so personal. I was secretly hoping they wouldn’t get noticed so I could pinch one. But sadly not; absolutely everyone loved them!

Boy Chris and Girl Chris were an absolute joy to be around. Making the atmosphere at their wedding so fun and light-hearted. It was a beautiful celebration of love and happiness, and I was honoured to be able to document it for them.

Jane x

At the start of the wedding planning journey, finding a photographer seemed like such a daunting task but after seeing her photos, hiring Jane was one of the easiest and best decisions we made! Neither myself or my husband are particularly comfortable in front of a camera and yet Jane made us both feel at ease so quickly. Both during our pre shoot in the woods and the wedding day itself, Jane was very easy to get on with, always happy to help, and most importantly, got on very well with our dog Bella 😁 She knew both how to set up and frame some perfect shots, as well as catch so many candid moments on the day to really capture all of the emotions, love and laughter. Jane blended right in with all of our friends and family, making everyone feel comfortable to just be themselves. She always managed to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time to ensure every moment was documented perfectly!
I could not recommend Jane any more highly.
Thank you again!
