Oh, where do I even start with Kat and Ryan’s wedding? When they reached out to me about being their Didsbury House wedding photographer, I was absolutely pumped! I had actually met them the year before during a wedding where Ryan was the best man. It was so nice to reconnect with them and to also catch up with Lizzie and Jamie, my previous couple. It felt like one big happy family. And Lizzie was now pregnant!

Sale Town Hall

Their wedding week kicked off quietly with a legal ceremony at Sale Town Hall on Monday. Just the two of them, two friends and myself made for such an intimate vibe. After exchanging vows, we had a walk down to the canal for a quick photo shoot. Simple, sweet, and super meaningful.

The real deal!

Then came Friday, the day everyone was really waiting for! Their beautiful celebrant led ceremony at Didsbury House Hotel had their kids and loved ones present, which was just beautiful to witness. There were hugs and happy tears all round! A quick moment after the ceremony and I whisked the newlyweds away to Eleven Didsbury Park, Didsbury House Hotel’s sister hotel, for some amazing couples portraits in their stunning garden and greenhouse. It was magical! Kat completely rocked her chic white jumpsuit, which suited her vibrant energy perfectly.

Party time

And let me tell you, the party. Epic doesn’t even begin to cover it! After a quick outfit change into a dazzling short sequin dress, Kat was ready to dance the night away. They had a live band that got everyone involved, plus a DJ whose beats had everyone bouncing. The atmosphere was electric, and it was such a blast capturing all those moments of joy and celebration.

All in all, this wedding was a perfect blend of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. It’s days like these that remind me how special my job is, and I couldn’t be happier to have been part of Kat and Ryan’s journey.
