I have been a Lancashire Family photographer for 7 years now, 7 years! I have loved every minute of it as I love meeting new people. Sometimes, I am really fortunate and get to work with them again.

Meeting John Reynolds

During lockdown, I downloaded TikTok. Mainly to see what other real people were doing but partly to prat around with my daughters. Anyway, I now use it to make wedding reels. Last year, I came across John Reynolds and his sassy daughter, Areli. I was soon gripped by their family updates. Mainly as I could really relate to John when he was discussing Areli’s strops and gaslighting.

Family photography at Clitheroe Castle

Fast forward a few month and John and I were now chatting to each other and we arranged a family photo shoot over at Clitheroe Castle. Being a Lancashire family photographer, I know of lots of beautiful locations for these sessions. John had said he fancied Clitheroe as they would also get some lunch afterwards. Anyway, I was so excited to meet him, his wife Jade, their son Elijah and of course, their daughter Areli. After spending many months of following them, I was worried how Areli was going to behave. But then I reminded myself that I am a Mum to 2 girls and I also have 2 stepdaughters! Of course I could handle this! It was so wonderful to meet them all. It felt like we had known each other forever and I even got several high fives from the kids! Areli did stomp her feet a couple of times, but not at me, ha! I had a great morning with them and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future.
