Natural Lancashire Wedding Photographer
Well, that is it! Another year over already! 2024 saw my 8th year of being a family photographer and 7th year of being a natural wedding photographer based in Lancashire. I do actually cover the whole of the North West and other areas too. I can’t believe how lucky I am to be able to work for myself and work with such lovely people.
2024 weddings
Like I said, I am so lucky to live and work where I do. Being based in the Ribble Valley, I am surrounded by some of the most beautiful wedding venues, including Bashall Barn, The Outbarn, Mitton Hall, Eaves Hall & Browsholme (to name a few of my favs). I have actually shot 68% of this years weddings here in the Ribble Valley. The other 32% have been in Merseyside, Cheshire, Cumbria and Manchester. I love shooting at my regular wedding venues, but this year, I have shot at some new ones. Some that I would really like to go back to. Including The Inn On The Lake at Ullswater, Chester Zoo & Sefton Palm House.
Random Facts – Bashall Barn has again been my most shot at venue this year (4 times compared to lasts years 5). I actually only have 1 wedding booked in there for next year, but there is still time for that to change.
Most popular name has been Chris. I have had 4 of them. 3 of them being grooms, 1 of them being a bride. Bride Chris actually married one of the groom Chris’. Can you guess where? You’ve got it, Bashall Barn! But…. If we are just going off the groom Chris’, then it is tied. 3 Chris and 3 Joe’s.
2025
I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings as a natural Lancashire wedding photographer. My diary is booking up nicely, as is my 2026 diary. My new venue for next year is Abbey House Hotel in Cumbria. I am really looking forward to that one as the bride is a friend from my days of working in a photography shop in Ulverston.
I say this every year but thank you to all my friends, family and amazing couples who have supported me along my journey. It means the world!
Happy New Year!
