Ribble Valley & Lancashire wedding & family photographer
Well that it is. 2023 is over already! I remember when I was a child, my Mum used to say about how time goes by quicker as you get older. I can confirm that she is 100% correct with that one. 2023 was my 7th year of being a family photographer and my 6th of being a Lancashire wedding photographer (I also cover the North West). I still can’t believe I have been self employed for this long. 2023 has seen a few changes for my business. The main one being a huge rebrand and name change! I’ve got to say, I love it!
2023 weddings
2023 has been amazing! I have been so lucky to work with so many fantastic couples and talented wedding suppliers. Being a Lancashire wedding photographer, the majority of my weddings have taken place in Lancashire, but I have also shot weddings in The Lake District in Cumbria, Merseyside, Manchester and Yorkshire. Most of my weddings have been local to where I live in the Ribble Valley which I absolutely love! I am so lucky to be surrounded by gorgeous wedding venues including, Bashall Barn, Mitton Hall, Eaves Hall, Shireburn Arms, Browsholme Hall and The Outbarn to name a few! I have also shot at some amazing venues for the first time this year too – Malmasion in Liverpool & Cockley Woods Weddings in Yorkshire. Actually, Emily and Josh’s Cockley Wood wedding was featured on Whimsical Wonderland wedding blog!
Random facts – Bashall Barn was my most shot at venue this year (5 times) and Lauren was my most popular bride name (4 lovely Lauren’s – 2 of them at Bashall Barn!!).
I can’t wait to see what 2024 brings. My diary is filling up nicely and I have some new venues to work at too. I am so excited to shoot at The Inn on the Lake, Chester Zoo and Sefton Palm House. Well, I have shot at Sefton Palm House before, but I was shooting for someone else.
Thank you to all my friends, family and amazing couples who have supported me along my journey. It means the world!
Happy New Year!
Jane xx
