Elizabeth & Martyn

Elizabeth & Martyn initially met through their youngest sons being best friends at school. Elizabeth’s son (Joshua) invited Martyn’s son (Samuel) to his birthday party. Before Samuel had even had chance to look at the invite, Martyn had RSVP’d with a YES!! Martyn recalls thinking, “I know exactly who his Mum is and she is fit!” On the day of Joshua’s party, Martyn made sure that he gave his number to Elizabeth, you know, just in case he was needed….. He then text her to thank her for the invite in the hope that he could get chatting to her. He thought he had failed when he didn’t hear back, but a few months later, things stepped up and the rest is history!

The Out Barn, Lancashire

This gorgeous couple looked around several Ribble Valley wedding venues and went on to choose The Out Barn at Bashall Eaves. They said it fit their needs perfectly and also has the most amazing views. I was ecstatic when they asked me if I would be their The Out Barn wedding photographer! I’m not going to lie, I have shot at The Out Barn several times and I never get bored of its panoramic view of Lancashire’s Pendle Hill.

Elizabeth and her girls got ready in the on site rustic farm house which is literally a 2 minute drive from The Out Barn itself. It was a lovely morning, filled with laughter and pastries! You’ve got to love a pastry in the morning!

After a beautiful civil ceremony, the party started straight away. Wayne Farrow was there to host and also to sing throughout the day. He certainly kept everyone entertained during the wedding breakfast! It was a beautiful evening. I even managed to get a couple of cheeky extra portraits before the cake cutting and dancing the night away. Starting with naughties club classic, Cascada, Everytime We Touch!
